Nate here. My Summer just started. So I'm starting to catch up on the anime I quit watching which was around Spring's lineup of anime. I'll be reviewing a few soon (if I feel like it) since no one cares, I'll start with this one...
Are you an idiot? Ok, I didn't mean that, seriously. But this anime is all about idiots, and dumb school students. The main hero is the dumbest of them all, Yoshii, Akihisa. The story is all about the students fighting with a special system made like a pokemon/yu-gi-oh way of fighting, only with chibi versions of themself.

The way they determine their lvl and stats is through their intellect and classes on school. The students are divided into 6 tiers, class A though class F, F being the lowest class you can be. The lower the class your are in, the worse off the classroom and school utilities you have. Thus, there are school summon wars declared by the lower classrooms to gain the higher classrooms and better utilities.
Class F is Akihisa's classroom. As well as most of the supporting cast. Himeji, Mizuki is also a classmate, and also one of the smarter people in the class. Shimada, Minami is also in the class very aggressive tsundere in a comedic way. Both Minami and Mizuki like Akihisa. Kinoshita, Hideyoshi is also in Class F. Looks like a girl, but is actually a boy. He's the girl's eye candy of the show practically (also a joke.) Also has a sister in class A that looks almost just like Hideyoshi. Sakamoto, Yuuji is Akihisa's somewut good friend. Kind of a rival at times, but still a good. (Never really shows the "good friend" part...) Was know as "The Prodigy" back then for being smart, now he's dumb and is in class F. Has a friend in class A named Kirishima, Shouko who is practically in love him...in the worst ways (for guys at least.) Tsuchiya, Kouta well known with a camera and being silent most of the time. Aka "Voyuer" or "Silent Pervert" in subs, he's a practical ninja in addition to his slyness and is ninja-like summon. Whenever he gets a chance he tries to take pictures of Minami's and Mizuki's "accessories," as well as studying girl's bust sizes and other perverted things...but nosebleeds and wrong positions get in the way. In my opinion, the best guy out of the group. xD
If you're looking for an anime that's pure comedy, Baka Test is just for you. It's kinda dirty comedy, but it's still comedy. There's some parodies, but only in a couple episodes. If you like chibis, also good. The story is fluid. I don't remember any boring episode in here that would make me turn it down. If you're an otaku that sticks by the manga...sorry I don't listen to you guys, it's like not opening your mind to new things. I'll say right now that there's 2 special epsodes for the show and also they're planing a second season, so it's pretty successful. A decent 13 episode anime. I love it. I give it a 4.5 out of 5
