Wow that was pretty damn fast. Only four episodes into the Phi Brain series and a company already hopped on licensing for the states like it was a fresh out of the oven muffin. Sentai has confirmed that they did get the licensing rights to the anime Phi Brain. Sentai has said that they will stream the anime on anime news network before the official box set will be released when the series is over. I am pretty surprised they hoped on this very early, its a good anime so far but Sentai better hope it doesn't turn to crap or else they would that yolk on face look. -Anthony Beanessources:http://www.japanator.com/licensing-get-sentai-unleash-the-phi-brain-20640.phtml
In another attempt for Hollywood to make an anime live action, Kite is the next victim. It has been reported that movie will start development in South Africa in January of 2012 with a budget of 12 million dollars to produce it. Next week the company plans to reveal who are going to be the actors in this film. The Director for this movie will be David R Ellis, also known for his recent work in Shark Night 3D, Cellular, the sequels Final Destination 2 and The Final Destination, Snakes on a Plane, Asylum. Now of course your thinking this may not bold well with the guy in charge making some of these last movies, but who knows maybe this will be the one that works. As stated in Variety the movie will be about: "be an action film about a young woman with financial troubles. A corrupt security force that had been selling young women murders her police officer father. The woman teams up with her father's former partner to uncover the mystery of his death, unaware she was betrayed from the start." -Anthony Beanessources: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-10-28/live-action-kite-to-be-shot-in-s-africa-for-us$12-million
On the last legs of the PSP there are still games coming out and I suspect you can transfer these games to your Vita and PS3. Darkstalkers fans rejoice as the re-release of the classic fight game is coming. We are not sure if it will be like an HD remake, but we did get the info thanks to a leak from the ESRB as it gave a rating for this re-release as they do with every game before it comes out. You probably see this on PSN network to download to your PS3 as well as your PSP if you still have one lying around. This past year at Comic Con in San Diego the creator of the series did say that Darkstalkers is not dead and speculation is that there be a sequel or a reboot of the franchise as much as recent fighting games like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 2012, and Mortal Kombat 9. Are you guys excited for a new Darkstalkers game? -Anthony Beanessources: http://www.shacknews.com/article/70833/esrb-outs-darkstalkers-as-ps1-classic
This is Halloween, this is Halloween, lalala Well it's that time again where everything will be Halloween related and Team Fortress 2 is no different. Last year they gave away special Halloween hats and a new mode to play for a limited time on their servers. This year they plan to add in a bit of story rather then just throw in a new fun mode. In case you haven't read it, Valve has released a comic about the origin of how the Demoman lost his right eye. You can read it here, and the story sets up a new map and to play in. Also of course what new map wouldn't it be without new hats, new achievements, a chance to fight the giant eyeball itself, and something along the lines of a "secret loot" can be found. I for one is not going to miss out on this opportunity like I did last time. Team Fortress 2 is free to play and can be downloaded on steam. -Anthony Beanessources:http://www.1up.com/news/team-fortress-2-celebrates-halloween-costumes-map

Break Blade in my first impression of watching the trailer on animenation.net ( http://www.animenation.net/blog/2011/10/12/sentai-acquires-break-blade/) looks like a well worth Drama and Action Mecha anime that slightly reminds me of Full Metal Panic for some reason. (But with lots of magic involved). The anime is an adaption from the manga that was first released on July 7, 2009. Sentai Filmworks claimed rights to produce the franchise and will premiere on The Anime Network as 6 different 50 minute movies later within the month of October. After Break Blade is over they will release BD & DVDs the following year under their Romanized title "Broken Blade" instead. - ☆Rizumi/Rabbit
Lets face it, Mass Effect series is a great game and many people love the conversation mechanic with each person, robot, alien you talk to. In a tweet by lead audio Rob Blake, he stated that, "We do our best to keep consistency but it's tough with 40,000 lines! We've got new techniques on ME3 that improve it tho!" Hey the more conversation options the better, and I love how this really tells the story of the characters and the world that is presented in this way. With the addition of talking to your console using the Kinect, Mass Effect 3 may end up shaping up to be the most talkative game since the tv show, Law and Order. Mass Effect 3 is plan to be released March 6th, 2012 on Xbox 360, PC, and PS3. -Anthony Beanessources: http://www.shacknews.com/article/70603/mass-effect-3-nearly-twice-as-wordy-as-predecessors-combined
Yes your out crys and please have been heard and Capcom gave everyone what we been all waiting for. Now we can see how Phoenix Wright plays in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. We all knew his moves were going to be non combat, and from the looks of things yea they were right. His move set is very strange and funny, to even have the launch move sneezing on the ground. As far as for Nova, he seems to be a combination of multiple characters, like Iron fist, Super Skrull, and Iron man. Hes got that heavy feel to him, and once he gets going, it seems like it will be hard for him to stop. Now for any further a due, enjoy these new trailers for you.
I will admit I watched both movies, loved the 1st one and hated the 2nd one, but when I heard that this was being made into an anime that got me very interested again in the series. Whats even more exciting is that is its the guys from the Appleseed movies working on it. I can see this proving really well, love to see how this will turn out. This will be a direct sequel to Starship Troopers called, Starship Troopers: Invasion. Problem is, its going to be a sequel to the Paul Verhoeven version. The movie will be out next year in the summer of 2012. The main story for the film is: "A distant Federation outpost Fort Casey comes under attack by bugs. The team on the fast attack ship Alesia is assigned to help the Starship John A. Warden stationed in Fort Casey evacuate along with the survivors and bring military intelligence safely back to Earth. Carl Jenkins, now ministry of Paranormal Warfare, takes the starship on a clandestine mission before its rendezvous with the Alesia and goes missing in the nebula. Now, the battle-hardened troopers are charged with a rescue mission that may lead to a much more sinister consequence than they ever could have imagined...." -Anthony Beanessources: http://www.japanator.com/appleseed-director-making-starship-troopers-anime-film-20539.phtml
So everyone at one point in their lives have heard or played Runescape. Now back in the day it was the most played free MMO out there. Sure graphics were no where near the level that most MMO's are today but for a kid or someone who wanted to play a major MMO that didn't cost them 15$ a month to play, really felt great. Well take those same guys and jump to today, they are now put in charge for the next Transformers MMO. The game is called Transformers Universe and planning to launch at the end of 2012. From the early screenshots of some of the models for the game look really well done. More details will come out this weekend at New York's Comic Con.
