hmmmmmmmmmm
Seeems like today is a slow news day, but there's always something to show or talk about. Today we bring you two new trailers that came out today. One is a trailer about Noob Saibot. Mortal Kombat is looking really good as of late and Noob looks fun to play. Question is will it have the same impact of a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 hype or somehwere in between. Whatever it is, you can take a look for yourself and see what you think.
The other trailer today is from the Alice: Madness Return. I be honest I have not played these games but I love the aspect of a different twsited tale on the Alice in wonderland story. Sure, you can argue the one Tim Burton worked on, but this feels more right at home then what that movie even did.
and last and but not least is a new trailer for Crysis 2. Our preivew of the mutiplayer will soon be up this week, but in the mean time you guys can take a good look at the new story trailer, "Dead Men Walking."  The story to this game is increasing looking interesting and I might try out when it comes out.

For some of us Mirror's Edge was a great game, and for some other feel like it could have been better, but the game had too many flaws to really give it a pass. Well regardless of what you thought of the game 1up.com has reported that there was a sequel in the works for Mirror's Edge, but because of the lack luster sales and average reviews there have been reports that the development of this game has stopped. At the moment most of DICE is working on Battlefield 3 right now, but an EA representative has contacted 1up.com to clarify a few things about Mirror's Edge.

Calling Mirror's Edge "an important franchise," noting that DICE is currently at work on Battlefield 3 and that it has "nothing further to announce."

Mirror's Edge in my opinion was a great game and a very creative idea to work around. I would like to see if DICE can work on a sequel after they are done with Battlefield 3.

When you thought they were out, they kept getting pulled right back in to it!
With the horde of Moe-blob animes that came out last year K-ON! was the one anime leading that charge. Regardless of what you think of K-ON! there have been some details on K-ON! coming back to Manga. Details are scarce until the next issue of  Manga Times Kirara magazine, but the company has confirmed that K-ON! will be making its way back to the Manga with new one page strips following the high school band. With the return of K-ON! not only in Manga, but soon the anime movie, I think it may come to a point where too much of a good thing may end up eventually become a bad thing. I have to admit if there was one moe' anime that would keep going and never gets old it would be K-ON!. Now if only Genshiken would do one more season of anime...

While everyone was at home watching the Super Bowl yesterday, Sony announced though one of the Super Bowl commercials the new Playstation Phone called the Ericcson Experia. Given the commercial was kind of creepy it did show that design we have all seen to what we thought would be for the NGP. Details about this phone is its operation system will be using Android, be able to play Playstation one games, it will have the slide out feature of the controller, shoulder buttons and more to be revealed during the Mobile World Congress in February. There were rumors of the NGP would be a phone and a psp, but all that laid to rest when the NGP was announced last month in Japan. The real question is Sony has now announced two new products to compete with the Nintendo 3DS and Apple's Iphone is whether they can be successful on both devices in the handheld and phone market. We have to wait and see as the details come out later on this week.
